Beef Or Salmon unlikely to be on menu

BEEF OR SALMON is a doubtful runner in this afternoon's Heineken Gold Cup at Punchestown.

The ground was officially good to yielding yesterday, but it was an assessment which was very much open to debate.

Said Beef Or Salmon's trainer, Michael Hourigan: "More than likely Beef Or Salmon won't run. They can say what they like about the ground, but the jockeys tell me it is on the fast side of good.
