GERRY CULLY'S Arc Lemanique has a leading chance in the William Glynn Memorial Maiden Hurdle at Kilbeggan this evening.

He was the medium of a gamble at Tralee, 5-1 to 5-2, but it was sunk without trace in the very testing conditions.

Eight days ago at Cork, on a much faster surface, the selection was seen in a far better light. The five-year-old finished six lengths second behind all-the-way winner Dantys Hampshire, giving the impression his turn wouldn't be long delayed.
