William Hill tops

WILLIAM HILL will become Britain’s biggest chain of bookmakers today after the acquisition of Stanley Leisure’s 624-strong estate of betting shops was approved yesterday.

William Hill is reportedly paying £504 million for the new purchase, which takes them above Ladbrokes.
