Walker makes headlines at sales
Agent Kenny Walker bid €4,500 to secure Eddie Brophy’s (Waterfall) Headline City, after the fawn had won his trial in 29.62. He got into a lot of trouble in the race but once he got motoring he strode away to a six lengths success.
James Greaves from Kent paid €3,000 for Miss Elaine Corkery’s (Grenagh) bitch Up For Glory who had a five lengths success in her trial in 29.24. He also laid out 2,400 to get Bluebridge Tina, the property of D. J. Buckley of Gneeveguilla, Co. Kerry. The May ’04 bitch had carded 29.13 when winning her trial by a length from Daleroad Fortune, whom local agent Michael Walsh bought for 1,850.
