Blanchfield on the upgrade
The daughter of Luso is on the upgrade and won’t have to improve much on her most recent outing at Navan to go close in this class.
She finished three lengths second behind Tom Taaffe’s Tex Morgan then, sticking well to her task all the way up the straight.
Blanchfield seemed quite at home in the very testing conditions and that is a big plus, given the ground is sure to ride heavy now.

Disclosure then followed with another decent effort, third of 30 behind John Oxx’s Caribbean and Aidan O’Brien’s River Tiber at the Curragh.
The form was boosted when fourth placed Decado scored next time and the fact the selection has the best of the draw, is a bonus.
Walk In My Shadow, off bottom weight, has a leading chance in the second division of the Devils Bit Handicap.
She is fit from hurdling, performing reasonably well when fifth to Saipan at Clonmel earlier in the month.
Walk In My shadow scored once on the level last season, revelling in the heavy ground when beating Stone Arch a length and a half at Tralee in June.
