NORTH of England trainer, Jimmy Finnick, was very active at the Curraheen Park sales yesterday, picking up a few choice lots.

He paid the top price of the day when he bid €5,350 to secure Margaret Kennedy's (Killeagh) Narrow Success, which had carded 28.91 when winning his pre-sales trial by five lengths.

He also was successful in getting Willie and Paul O'Sullivan's (Cahir) Swiftly Champ for €2,700. The black was an impressive three lengths winner of his trial in 29.19.
