Take a chance on Ciaras Diamond in the Lynam Merit Median Auction Maiden. Ciaras Diamond ran well enough on her reappearance in a handicap at the Curragh last month. She was mildly unlucky in running, finishing ninth of 21 behind Best Side.

David Wachman’s charge was beaten a short head by Sky High Flyer, with useful enough sorts in Mount Eliza and Fontanally Springs filling third and fourth respectively. Sky High Flyer has run two cracking races in Group Three company this season.
Colour Coordinated is the obvious worry, on her short head second to Baileys Best at Limerick, but needs to stay on the bridle for as long as possible.
Liam Burke’s Sir Frederick gets the vote in a dreadful looking two and a half mile Kingdom Maiden Hurdle.
He departed the scene at the first in the contest won by Alpha Royale at Ballinrobe last week, but prior to that was seven lengths second to Father Matt at Cork. Behind in third was On The Net, who boosted the form on a couple of occasions subsequently.
Melody Island might be another for in-form Kevin Prendergast in the Irish Stallion Farms’ EBF Fillies Handicap. As a daughter of Turtle Island the ground should hold no fears and she has run two solid races of late, third to Dollars Rock at Limerick and fourth behind Kilmannin at Leopardstown.
