Neptune have given themselves life in the relegation battle, after a comprehensive 89-71 win away to Tralee, who just couldn’t get to the pitch of a battle which clearly meant more to the Cork side. The win takes them level on six wins with Killorglin, and just one game behind Demons.

Neptune effectively have one and three-quarter games remaining, as they must complete a game against Eanna which was abandoned due to a Cian Heaphy injury with Neptune trailing by 18 after just one quarter. That game will happen on Monday the 16th and could be the final lifeline for Neptune if they need it.
