Throughout the season, Ballincollig have shown glimpses of an ability to reach another level of play, but even player coach Ciaran O’Sullivan was surprised by the level they achieved on Saturday night as they beat Tralee 104-77. Ballincollig, at their best, move the ball better than any team in the country, and they have shooting all over the floor. Once Latrell Jossell got them started in the first quarter, the whole team got into the action as they hit a staggering 20 three pointers on 53% shooting from beyond the arc. Ballincollig hit more threes in the first half than they have scored in any full game this year, which is an incredible feat. Simply put, Ballincollig put on one of the greatest shooting displays Ireland has ever seen in a cup final.
