Flomax Liffey Celtics stayed on track to retain their Paudie O’Connor Women’s National Cup crown as they overcame Gurranabraher Credit Union Brunell 82-80 in a thrilling quarter-final at the GCU Arena on Sunday.

The winners had exceptional displays from their American duo of Destinee Brusch (24) and Brooke Kane (19) with Katie Williamson also destroying the Brunell defence with a 21-point contribution.
