Katie Taylor 'very open' to fighting ex-UFC champion Ronda Rousey

Rousey was the UFC's bantamweight champion between 2012 and 2015

Katie Taylor said a fight between her and former UFC champion Ronda Rousey "makes sense". It was reported by Boxing Scene on Monday that representatives of both fighters are in negotiations regarding a boxing bout which could take place in Las Vegas this summer.

"[Rousey’s] an iconic figure herself in female sport,” Taylor, who is being honoured by the WBC in Thailand this week,  told Boxing Scene.
