Walshe and Wiffen spearhead Irish squad for European Short Course Championships

Olympic champion Daniel Wiffen and Olympic finalist Ellen Walshe will lead Ireland's 13-strong team into the European Short Course Championships from December 2nd to 7th in Lublin, Poland.

Both swimmers were medallists at the 2023 iteration of the event, with Wiffen claiming 400m, 800m and 1500m golds, as well as setting a world record in the 800m freestyle, while Walshe won 400m individual medley bronze.
