Neptune have followed Demons in changing professional, after their disastrous start to the season. Zyon Dobbs is the casualty after averaging 17.7 points a game to start the year.

Neptune have struggled defensively to start the year, and they will need their new signing to produce on both ends of the floor. Reports suggest that Roti Ware, a 6’3 guard from the Steven F Austin State University is on the way to Cork. With experience playing in Azerbaijan professionally, as well as alongside Ballincollig’s Latrell Jossell in college, Ware will need to be a steadying force for a young Neptune team searching for an identity.

Elsewhere across town, Demons have confirmed that they have signed Jarvis Doles to replace Zach Hinton. Doles has experience in the Irish league having played with Tralee in 2023/24. Doles isn’t a huge physical presence but at 6’8 he’s smart, can rebound and is a nice shooter.
