Mona McSharry was fourth in the 50m Breaststroke, while Ellen Walshe secured two sixth place finishes in the 100m Butterfly and 200m Individual Medley on the final day of racing at stop one of the World Aquatics World Cup in Carmel, USA on Sunday night.

McSharry, who was also fourth in the 100m Breaststroke over the weekend, missed a medal by just two hundredths of a second in the 50m Breaststroke final. The Sligo woman clocked 29.82 with the bronze medal won in 29.80 by Germany’s Anna Elendt.
