Cork native Aaron Hill makes first 147 of career at English Open

It was the ninth 147 of the season so far and put Hill on course for the £5,000 highest break prize.

Cork native Aaron Hill made the first 147 of his career at the English Open in Brentwood.

The 23-year-old hit the maximum in the first frame of his meeting with Yao Pengchang and went on to win 4-2 for a place in round three.
