French driver Sebastien Ogier (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) celebrated his 200th World Rally Championship appearance with victory in Rally Chile Bio Bio to move into the lead of the World Rally Championship.

He finished 11s ahead of his Welsh team-mate Elfyn Evans with French driver Adrien Fourmaux (Hyundai i20 Rally1) a further 35.5s behind in third. For the Irish crew of Josh McErlean/Eoin Treacy it was a disappointing event, they began the penultimate leg in tenth place but their Ford Puma Rally1 stopped with an engine issue on Saturday's opening stage. They re-joined the final leg under Super Rally for some valuable experience.
