Fighting back tears of joy, Jon Armstrong (Ford Fiesta Rally2) celebrated his maiden victory in a round of the European Rally Championship after he won the JDS Machinery Ceredigion Rally, the penultimate round of the series. Co-driven by Shane Byrne, they finished 29.2s ahead of their M-Sport team mates Estonians, Romet Jurgenson/Siim Oja (Ford Fiesta Rally2) with Polish crew Miko Marczyk/Szymon Gospodarczyk (Skoda Fabia RS Rally2) 14.5s further behind.

Fourth-placed William Creighton/Liam Regan (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) extended their lead in the British Rally Championship.
