Knee issues force Kyrgios to withdraw from US Open

It is the latest blow for the polarising former Wimbledon finalist, who has not played in the US Open since reaching the quarter-finals in 2022.

Nick Kyrgios has withdrawn from the US Open.

The Australian's absence comes as no surprise, with the 30-year-old not having played a singles match since the Miami Open in March.
