Kelly Mallon reclaims Ulster senior road bowling title

Mallon opened the score and led from the off to dethrone Ulster and All-Ireland champion Dervla Toal-Mallon.

Kelly Mallon reclaimed her Ulster senior title when she dethroned Ulster and All-Ireland champion, Dervla Toal-Mallon, with Aoife Trainor third, in the Ulster final on the All-Ireland course at Keady-Tassagh.

She opened the score and led from the off. She had already established a good lead with her bowl to light at Twynam’s. She played a huge bowl from Twynam’s to the top of Gillogly’s height, to raise a bowl on Toal-Mackle and well over a bowl on Trainor.
