Olympic champion Daniel Wiffen is ignoring, for now, the opportunity to claim a $50,000 prize by targeting a world record at next week’s Irish Open.

Individual world records have earned that huge payday at FINA’s World Aquatic Championships ever since 2021, but there will be no such rewards at the nationals in Abbottstown between April 12th and 16th.
