Former rugby international Bobbett named to Irish boxing team for Women's Worlds

The 81kg+ fighter from Ashbourne has been named in an experienced, eight-strong Ireland team to content the 2025 Women's World Boxing Championships which kick off Sunday in Serbia

Former Ireland rugby international Judy Bobbett will make history next week in Serbia when she completes a rare double by representing her country on the world stage in a second sport. 

The Ashbourne native has been named in an eight-strong Ireland team to content the 2025 Women's World Boxing Championships which kick off Sunday in Nis.
