Bobby Browne, a February dog puppy by Newinn Wonder-Strand Road, owned and nominated by Ballyheigue hotelier Jimmy Brown and trained in Tarbert by Pat and Tom O’Connor, ran out a brilliant winner of the 2025 running of The Una O’Sullivan Memorial Irish Cup at Limerick Racecourse, Patrickswell, yesterday, much to the delight of the large Kerry contingent present.

An excellent stock of strong-running and well-trained hares led their opponents a merry dance in front of the large crowd that turned up each of the three days to witness coursing at its very best at one of the best meetings seen at the venue since the Co Limerick club moved there some years ago.
