Harlequins defeat Church of Ireland in cagey affair

The win effectively means the league title could come down to the match between Bandon and Harlequins in two weeks time, with Bandon also yet to play C of I again.

Julian Dale was on target in both Harlequins games over the weekend.

Harlequins men were knocked out in the quarter-finals of the AIG Irish Senior Cup on Saturday, falling 4-2 to EYHL 1 side Monkstown.

Despite a valiant effort, Quins went toe-to-toe with the hosts and at one stage held a 2-1 lead, thanks to a brace from Julian Dale.
