Keith Cronin was just over two years old when the legendary Scottish driver Jimmy McRae won the last of his five British Rally Championship titles (1988) a record still unequalled in the history of the series that began in 1958.

This Sunday, the Ballylickey driver begins his bid to equal McRae's record as he makes his debut in a Citroen C3 Rally2 with Killarney's Mikie Galvin calling the notes for the East Riding Stages Rally in east Yorkshire, the opening round of the 2025 Probite British Championship.
