Motorsport: Eamonn Kelly in gear for Junior World Rally Championship

Former Billy Coleman award winner Donegal's Eamonn Kelly is amongst 13 drivers representing 11 nations that have registered for the Junior World Rally Championship that begins with Rally Sweden on February 13th next. Kelly (27) and his Monaghan co-driver Conor Mohan, part of the Motorsport Ireland Academy, are seeded at No. 60 for the Swedish event that is the second round of the World Rally Championship.
The five round Junior WRC also features Vodafone Rally de Portugal (May 15-18); EKO Acropolis Rally Greece (June 26-29 June); Secto Rally Finland (31 July-August 3) and Central European Rally (October 16-19). Double classification points will be on offer at the final round. The winner of the series will receive a fully-funded arrive-and-drive package to compete in four European rounds of the 2026 WRC in a Ford Fiesta Rally3.
