The Dublin City Half Marathon sold out all 12,500 of its entries just two hours after they went on sale earlier on Wednesday, proof that the running boom is showing no signs of slowing up.

Organised by the team behind the Irish Life Dublin Marathon and Race Series, in partnership with Dublin City Council, the inaugural edition of the race will get under way on O’Connell Street at 8.30am on Sunday, March 30, the route heading out of the city’s northside before finishing back in the city centre.
