Drinagh navigator Denis O’Donovan has won the Carbery Navigation Trial on ten previous ocasions.

Reigning champions Monaghan’s Andy Mackarel and his Limerick co-driver Greg Shinnors bring a four point advantage in the Motorsport Ireland National Navigation Trial Championship to tomorrow (Saturday) night’s Carbery Navigation Trial, the fourth round of the series that is also a counter for the Munster Navigation series.

Based in the Kilmurry GAA complex, the 85-mile event has a competitive entry and Shinnors explains why their position at the top is somewhat masked.
