Bellowing boos rang out in AT&T Stadium, Texas after it was announced Katie Taylor had beaten Amanda Serrano for a second time to defend her super-lightweight world titles.

The bout was scored 95-94 across the board but Serrano was left with a nasty cut due to a clash of heads at the halfway point. The Irish sporting star was eventually deducted a point in the eight round by referee Jon Schorle.
