She emigrated to Australia at the height of her career, but took up bowling again on her recent return to Ireland. She is now through to the Munster junior women’s final at Béal na Bláth. There she will face Marie Russell, daughter of 1993 All-Ireland senior champion, Sharon O’Driscoll, in a final that is capturing the imagination of swathes of bowling fans.
