'I have given so much to Basketball Ireland' - Thornton bemused at 'outrageous' transfer denial

Irish basketball international Hannah Thornton has been left in limbo after her transfer to Killester was denied, despite her former team DCU Mercy withdrawing from adult competitions.

Thornton played all of her underage basketball with Killester, and also played in college in the US with Northern Colorado, is a longtime member of James Weldon’s senior national squad.
