Denis O’Sullivan secured his place in the final of the Mikie Hourihane Cup at Bauravilla when he beat Kieran Hourihane by a bowl of odds.
The first half of this semi-final was hotly contested. O’Sullivan had a slender 20m lead after seven to Dekkers’, but that was whittled back to just two metres after nine to the rock. O’Sullivan put his stamp on the contest by making the bridge in three more to gain a bowl of odds. He consolidated that to the line.
