Trevor O’Sullivan and Brendan O’Donovan will top the bill in Sunday’s All-Ireland final series at Courtmacsherry, following last-shot wins in Saturday’s semi-finals.

North American champion, O’Donovan beat London representative Padraig Nugent in the first semi-final. O’Donovan raised almost a bowl with a big second shot. He lost the lead with a very short third one. He got back on track immediately, but a mistake with his sixth throw had them level again. Nugent led with a big seventh throw. The score continued to see-saw, as both players peppered the contest with a mix of brilliance and errors. Nugent was in control till he made a mistake with his third last, missing light and O’Donovan’s tip. O’Donovan won the last two tips.
