Cork's Eddie Dunbar wins first Grand Tour stage in La Vuelta

Dunbar raised his arms in triumph crossing the line and was clearly emotional at the breakthrough win.

A late attack saw Eddie Dunbar take his first ever Grand Tour stage win in Stage 11 of La Vuelta today.

Riding in the Team Jayco AlUla colours, the Corkman surged clear of the leading group in the closing kilometre and held on for victory.
