Motors: Two Irish crews claim seventh place finishes in WRC2 and WRC3 of the Secto Rally Finland

Irish co-driver Aaron Johnston and his Japanese driver Takamoto Katsuta retired their Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 after hitting a tree that snapped a wheel during Friday’s stages, they returned to action on Saturday and went on to win the final pair of stages including the Power Stage.

The Irish crews of Josh McErlean/James Fulton (Skoda Fabia RS Rally2) and Eamonn Kelly/Conor Mohan (Ford Fiesta Rally3) both netted seventh place finishes in the respective WRC2 and WRC3 categories of the Secto Rally Finland, round nine of the World Rally Championship. William Creighton/Liam Regan (Ford Fiesta Rally2) retired on SS6 and finished 46th under SuperRally.
