Munster champions, Andrew O’Leary and Fionán Twohig, pulled off a sensational All-Ireland double at Eglish claiming victory in dramatic last shots aginst their Ulster rivals.

O’Leary got the better of Mickey Rafferty in a titanic Veteran (over-50) final. Not only did it go to a last shot, but the winning margin was just two feet. Neither player ever had significant odds and the lead changed hands six times, including in the last exchange.
