Beatriz Ferreira has got on with her life since losing out on a gold medal to Kellie Harrington at the last Olympic Games. She has won two World amateur titles and five fights as a pro. Or maybe she hasn’t moved on a day.

The Brazilian, not surprisingly for a fighter nicknamed ‘The Beast’, made for a fearsome opponent that day in the Kokugican, but Harrington gave an exemplary performance in the biggest fight of her life and won through on a unanimous decision.
