Brian Wilmot is just two steps away from achieving the extraordinary feat of winning the All-Ireland intermediate and senior titles in successive years.

He faces Martin Coppinger in the Munster final in Skibbereen next Sunday morning, following his semi-final win over Gary Daly at Ballinagree. To date only former World Champion, Eddie Carr, completed that achievement, in 2001 and 2002. Others have won both titles, but Carr alone followed up with the senior win after having won intermediate in the previous year.
