Josh Moffett and Keith Moriarty win Clonmel based STS Group Tipperary Stonethrowers Rally

Monaghan’s Moffett marked his return to his trusty Hyundai i20 R5 with a victory alongside Limerick's Moriarty.

Monaghan’s Josh Moffett marked a return to his trusty Hyundai i20 R5 and to winning ways when he won the Clonmel based STS Group Tipperary Stonethrowers Rally, the sixth round of the Triton Showers National Rally Championship.

At the conclusion of the eight stage event and co-driven by Limerick’s Keith Moriarty, he had just 3.4s to spare over the Hyundai i20 Rally2 of that of his brother Sam, who was co-driven by fellow Monaghan man James O’Reilly.
