For the most part, Eddie Doherty’s rise to prominence within Irish rallying has been pretty much under the radar - up until now. 

The Mooncoin native, who won a Leinster MHC medal as a wing-back with Kilkenny in 2015, is still in his first full season in an R5 car that he debuted in last year’s Fastnet Rally in Bantry finishing fourth overall.
