Buoyed by their WRC2 podium finish in Rally Portugal earlier this season Irish pair Josh McErlean and James Fulton are keen to impress on this weekend’s ORLEN 80th Rally Poland, the seventh round of the World Rally Championship. Kesh driver McErlean, 24, has shown a fine turn of speed in the Toksport WRT2 run Skoda Fabia RS Rally2. Previous experience of what can be a gruelling event should also stand him in good stead.

He told the Irish Examiner, “Poland is a rally I’ve been looking forward to for a while now. We showed some really good pace here in 2023 and were fighting for podium positions in the ERC for much of that rally so I feel confident that we can start the event with the right approach.”
