Ireland’s Olympic sailors will be hoping that the weeks and months spent at the Marseille Marina in recent years can breed contentment rather than contempt when they get their 2024 Games underway at the end of July.

Three boats had been qualified in the last year and their crews were officially confirmed on Tuesday with Finn Lynch competing in the men’s dinghy, Eve McMahon in the women’s dinghy and Robert Dickson and Sean Waddilove manning the men’s skiff.
