Having won his legal challenge to what he claims was a “blatant abuse of power by Motorsport Ireland back in 2020”, Killarney rally official and well-known organiser Mike Marshall told the Irish Examiner over the weekend that he is still none the wiser as to why he was sanctioned by Irish motorsport’s governing body.

He said: “To this day, over four years on from November 2019, I am still no wiser as to what charges justified such irrational treatment.”
