Martin Coppinger beat Aidan Murphy by two bowls in the Munster senior championship at Timoleague on Monday.

Murphy got the better of the shots to light at the first bend. Coppinger gained a significant lead when he made light at Bateman’s in four. He was able to push 50m clear with his next, but Murphy pegged him back to 10m with a great sixth throw up the rise.
