Seamus Power booked his place at next week's US Open thanks to his performance at the Columbus qualifier in Ohio State.

The Waterford native finished tied-first, alongside Justin Lower on 10-under-par.

Power birdied the final hole to ensure Ireland has four players at Pinehurst. He will join Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry and Tom McKibben at what will be his third US Open in a row.

The 37-year-old is currently ranked 118th in the world.
