Callum Devine and John Rown claim victory at Circuit of Munster Rally

Devine was quickest through the opening stage that was just over 5km long.

Derry’s Callum Devine and his Antrim co-driver John Rowan took a start to finish victory in the Limerick based Lyons Motorgroup Circuit of Munster Rally, the fifth round of the Triton Showers National Rally Championship.

They led throughout and finished 21.9s ahead of Kilkenny’s Eddie Doherty Tom Murphy (Skoda Fabia R5) with Donegal’s Michael Boyle/Dermot McCafferty (VW Polo GTi R5) a further 11.2s behind in third. Doherty moves into the lead of the series a point ahead of Ballylickey’s Daniel Cronin, who netted third placed points and also claimed the Power Stage point.
