Tom Fannon secures Olympic qualification time (OQT) in the 50m Freestyle at the Irish Open Championships and Olympic Trials at the National Aquatic Centre.

Fannon becomes the fifth Irish swimmer to secure OQT. Fannon clocked 21.94 to book his seat to Paris and knock one hundredth of a second off his own Irish and Championship record. The 26-year-old secured his status as Ireland's fastest ever swimmer.
