Bowling: Paddy Stokes advances in the Munster Intermediate Championship

Paddy Stokes advanced in the Munster intermediate championship at the expense of John O’Rourke at Bottlehill.

O’Rourke made a good start, but failed to keep the momentum going. He won the opening shots by 50m. He missed a chance to extend his lead with his second one, but was still fore by 30m. That leniency came back to bite him when Stokes played two big shots in succession. They not only gave him the lead, but pushed him almost a bowl clear.
