The Irish crew of Josh McErlean and co-driver James Fulton took their Toksport run Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 to ninth overall in the Vodafone Rally de Portugal, round five of the World Rally Championship.  In what was their first WR outing of the season, they finished an impressive second in the WRC2 category as winner Nikolay Gryazin  (Citroen C3 Rally2) wasn’t registered for the series that saw the Irish pair netted second place WRC2 points.

Meanwhile, French driver Sebastien Ogier (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1) secured a record breaking sixth Vodafone Rally de Portugal victory and his 60th World Rally win finishing 7.9s ahead of Estonian Ott Tanak (Hyundai i20 Rally1).
