Grange Club was the centre of attention, both at home and away, as they hosted the Champy Deasy Cup final while their leading player, James O’Donovan, was winning a critical tie in the Mick Barry Cup at Ballincurrig.

Arthur McDonagh stole the show in the Mick Barry Cup though. He scorched past the line in a record-equalling 14 shots to see off Martin Coppinger. The other winners were Tim Young, Michael Murphy and Colm Rafferty.
