Adeleke 'excited' to be part of World Relays challenge

Rhasidat Adeleke has committed to both events and the national record holder should prove vital to their chances of securing a top-14 finish, with two additional Olympic berths also available via world rankings.

Athletics Ireland has announced its team for the upcoming World Relays in the Bahamas, which will see two Irish teams vying for Olympic qualification.

The event in Nassau on May 4-5 will see 32 nations eligible in each category, with Ireland holding strong claims of qualification for the Paris Games in the mixed 4x400m and women’s 4x400m.
